Henrietta Mears.  Do you know her? During her life, no one could fully grasp the impact she would make by following God’s specific call to disciple youth in Christ. The last few decades have revealed the fruits of her labor.  She personally mentored Bill Bright (Campus Crusade), Richard Halverson (Chaplain of the U.S. Senate), James Rayburn (Young Life), Ralph Winter (Founder, William Carey International University & Perspectives Mission Movement) and many other world-class ministry leaders – even Billy Graham!

Billy Graham once said of her: “I doubt if any other woman outside my wife and mother has had such a marked influence [on my life]. She is certainly one of the greatest Christians I have ever known!”

If you are specifically doing what God has called you to do, with a peace that transcends all understanding and there is no question in your heart about this, than you must keep doing that. If you are someone who intentionally and strategically leads, trains, and disciples people in the faith like Mrs. Mears, you too are making an eternal difference.  Without foundational ministries such as discipleship, those who translate the Bible, missionaries who serve (some who even give their lives), local pastors and youth leaders; our top 10 would not exist. We fully acknowledge and embrace that you don’t have to make this Top 10 list in order to be on God’s Top 10.

Caution: Please take note of the following before you give!

• Make sure that your check is designated to the specific ROI Ministry Top 10 ministry focus to which you want to give. For example, if you write a check to Faith Comes by Hearing, you should note that it is for Proclaimer specifically. Otherwise it may end up paying for fundraising, administration, or be used in another area within that ministry. The reason for this specific designation is that most of our Top 10 ministries do more than the one thing that qualified them to be on our Top 10 list.

• If you choose to become an eROI one-precenter or give a $500 or more, please write your check to ROI Ministry in order to insure that it makes it to the intended area of ministry. That way, 100% of your gift will make it to the Top 10 ministry that you choose. ROI Ministry will not charge any handling, markups or other fees. ROI Ministry is a 501(c)3 organization.

• When you give through ROI Ministry, you will also receive the Top 10 ministry statement. In addition to the ROI Ministry quarterly Kingdom impact statement, the Top 10 ministry statement serves as supporting documentation of your gift. The Kingdom impact statement will show, for example, how many people went through the New Testament, came to the Lord or received clean water in Jesus’ name due to your faithfulness.Based on the ministries provided information that provided their historical outcomes.

Here is a sample of the information you would receive in a ROI Ministry quarterly Kingdom impact statement. This example is based on a gift of $1,500 that the giver asked to be divided among three Top 10 ministries:

1667 people were positivity touched by God in large part due to your $1,500 gift. This will have an impact on you and them in ways that matter for all of eternity.ROI Ministry solely relies upon the information provided by ministries. This information includes, but is not limited to, financial statements, 990s and outcome/impact estimates. All outcomes are based on the measurable dollar results of each ministry, divided by the total ministry revenue. ROI Ministry does not validate or certify this information, although some ministries do this through third party accountants. For an additional fee, a qualified and experienced third party consultant can provide a comprehensive evaluation. This can include post gift outcome verification which may include site visits, extensive due diligence and review by a certified public accountant. ROI Ministry does not receive any commission for directing you to these organizations; however we do request a copy of these reports as additional support and detail for the our existing Top 10 ministries.

As an eROI one-percenter, you are eligibleto be nominated to serve to serve on our Board or many committees, such as the qualification and quantification (Q2) committee. . Our most notable ROI Ministry committee is the qualification and quantification (Q2) committee. The Q2 committee evaluates prospective Top 10 ministries. The Q2 evaluation may include a visit to the prospective Top 10 ministry HQ or field project to better understand the organization and ascertain their impact per dollar. We are always looking for Christian business owners, wealth managers, accountants and attorneys to serve on this committee. ROI Ministry committee and Board members are not paid, although they do pay for their own ROI Ministry and other related ROI Ministry costs. The ROI Ministry Board is happy to freely offer our services to help you at a great cost personally to us, so we can help you make the greatest and lasting impact with all the resources God has entrusted to us.
